2005
- January. Marek Borzestowski, co-founder of Wirtualna Polska, Marek Trojanowicz, the former CEO of Optimus Nexus and Marcin Strzałkowski, formerly responsible for branding Wirtualna Polska as well as sales to individual client's, start their business as Inovattek Ltd. [name changed in January 2007 to InteliWISE Ltd.) The company focuses on developing Artificial Intelligence technologies, including Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- June. The first version of an intelligent advisor is launched – the Virtual Human Application. A prototype based on AIML engine and video visualization.
- December. InteliWISE AVATAR prototype tests – the very first Polish Virtual Assistant and one of the first in the world, which not only recognizes natural language, but also uses dynamic video visualization and advanced voice synthesis.
2006
- June. The first implementation of the Virtual Assistant – the launch of „virtual squirrel“ on Polish Television websites.
- December. The launch of InteliWISE's intelligent avatar („Intelligent Receptionist“) on Carolina Medical Center's websites.
2007
- January. InteliWISE's innovative approach to World Wide Web customer service interfaces is recognized by Prokom Software S.A. (the biggest IT integrator in Middle Eastern Europe), which subsequently takes a 10 % share in InteliWISE.
- I and II Q. InteliWISE partners with leading interactive agencies and distribution nets (incl. Download.com, Tucows.com, DigitalOne, Hypermedia, AMG/NET).
- Co-operation begins with search engine technologies, voice synthesis providers (Nestprint, Nuance, IVO Software) and scientific centres (i.e. Technical University of Gdańsk and Higher School of Psychology in Warsaw).
- InteliWISE's development centre is moved to the Pomerania Science and Technology Park in Gdynia.
- June. LOT Polish Airlines implement the „Virtual Stewardess“ on their website – the first InteliWISE virtual assistant to serve multiple clients simultaneously. It converses with around 500 people daily and its answers are efficient 80% of the time. The load on LOT's customer service is significantly reduced – the number of online inquiries declines by approx. 70%.
- 3 Q. InteliWISE starts to develop software based on a multi-layered semantic net; the concept of a technological platform with AI engine elements, a dynamic video interface and voice synthesis.
- 3 and 4 Q. InteliWISE receives significant awards and commendations, i.e. ComputerWorld 2007 "Broadband" for the most innovative product, WebStarFestival 2007 award for the best website in the Tourism category, Baltic Challenge honors for the most innovative website product, Golden Medal at the Technicon Innovation 2007 trade fair and honors from the CEO of The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
- December. InteliWISE launches a test version of portals for individual clients – mass users. Avatou.com is the first web portal which enables any web user to record and modify their own video-avatar.
