Forbes 2008-06-01

In Forbes, June 2008, one can read an article by Marcin Kaczmarczyk entitled „On the Way to the Capital”. The author claims that there are only a few funds that have declared their willingness to support small technological companies. The funds prefer to invest in technologies which may be new but which are already well known to their analysts.
„
We went through serious talks with three well known Polish funds. We didn't come to an agreement about what, apart from money, they could bring to InteliWISE,” says Marcin Strzałkowski. One might have expected that the funds would help, for example, with establishing contacts with big potential clients outside Poland or with locating experts who could advise about how to develop the products to be sold on foreign markets.
„The founders of InteliWISE claim” – says the Author, „that the funds' representatives were able to look at the big picture the more they learnt about the company's products and ideas. Its flagship is an avatar – a personalized AI creature, supporting users of internet sevices. An avatar is currently in use on LOT Polish Airlines webpage”.
